Databases are where you go to find online sources. These can be peer-reviewed articles, newspapers, academic journals, and lots more. The databases that you have access to are either freely available or ones that Baker pays a subscription to for you to have better access. Check out the How to Research section of this guide for more information on research and databases.
Baker has both print and online journals it subscribes to. You can either search by title or, by clicking the "advanced search" button, you can also browse what's available.
The catalog searches for books. This will tell you what Collins has in its holdings, both print books and e-books.
The best place to start your search is the library's website.
All of these tabs (databases, catalog, etc.) are on the same page, you just click the tab you want to search.
If you are unsure what kind of source you should be looking for, check in with your instructor and see if they have a preference.
You are always welcome to stop by the library if you would like help navigating the website or any of the databases!
