STEP 1: Browse for Topic


 

While you could browse each monthly issue for documents published that month, some volumes include annual indexes that will simplify your searching.  When this is the case:

Browse the annual index for your topic of interest.  For each document of interest, record the page number. If my topic was the Spanish Flu, I would find the following entries:

Turn to the corresponding page and determine if the publication would be useful for your research.  If so record all of the information.
