Where can I find a Case Studiy?

Baker University Library does not collect copies of individual case studies. However, you DO have access to case studies that are published in a variety of business publications available in some of our business databases.

  1. In the Advanced Search screen, in the first search box, type a name of a company, or an industry, or even a keyword
  2. Slide the screen down to Document Type and select: Case Study
  3. Search

  2. Slide the screen down, and find the box labeled, Document Type
  3. Check the box: Business Case or Case Study
  4. Search
  1. Type the name of your company in the top search box.
  2. Select it.
  3. When the company profile comes up, scroll down the screen. to In-depth Articles
  4. Under Company Articles, then, under All Content Types, select Case Studies.

You can find case studies in both print and e-books in the Baker University Library Catalog by following the directions shown in the screen shot below:

  1. Start in the Advanced Search screen.
  2. Use the drop-down menu to specify that you're searching for subject words.
  3. Enter "case studies". Note the use of quotation marks to ensure you get ALL mentions of case studies in the subject field.

                                           

          4. In the Results Screen, limit the search to Baker University Library and then, to Book.
         
5. You'll be able to limit to eBooks and/or Print Books.

                                                                         

                 6. If you still have too many results, keep adding words to the search box to narrow the types of cases you retrieve. For example, sports.

              

                                                   
                

You might have luck in getting a more focused set of results by:

1. Searching for the topic
2,. Searching by company
3. Then, add the phrase "case study" OR "business school" OR "school of business"
4. Limit the results to WORD or PDF documents by using Google' "filetype" limit.
