Industry Information

Resources that will fill in how a company functions within its business community.

Industry SWOT analysis

1. From the top bar, select: Industry Research
2. Slide down and select: US Industry Reports (NAICS)

3. Scroll down until you find your specific industry codes.
For example, 72 - Accommodation and Food Services
(If you don't know the NAICS number of your industry, use the SEARCH IBISWorld search box in the top right of the screen)

4. Use the column on the left to filter all the industry information you need.

5. Use the down arrow next to Industry at a glance.
6. Scroll down to SWOT in the Industry.

1. From the Advanced Search screen, slide to the top left and select the 3-bar menu.

2. Select: BROWSE


 

3. Under Industry and Market Research, select: Business Monitor International

3. If you browse by subject, there won't be any listings about your industry in the United States.

4. If you browse by location, you'll find listings that will include the United States. 

5. Country Risk Reports will include SWOT analyses.

1. From the Advanced Search screen, slide to the top left and select the 3-bar menu.

2. Select: BROWSE


 

3. Under Industry and Market Research, select: First Research

4. Scroll down to find your industry. eg. Beverage industry.

4. Select a .PDF document that looks interesting. There won't be a section that is specifically labeled, SWOT. However, the report covers critical issues, business challenges, trends, and opportunities.
